Jack is 10 months old!!!

Well, I'm a a few days behind, but our little man turned 10 months old on Monday! Wow, how time has flown by. He is officially into EVERYTHING now. :) It's amazing how he just seems to have exploded right around 10 months - he's talking nonstop, can go from laying on the floor to sitting up, army crawls everywhere and just a few days ago has started going on his hands and knees sometimes. And today he figured out how to pull himself up onto things! Now we're in trouble! He pulled up in his bed earlier today, so down went the mattress! Also earlier today when Daddy and Drew were out shoveling the driveway, I opened the blinds and he pulled himself up to the windowsill to watch. He babbled nonstop while he watched them! It was too funny. He also makes vrooommm vrooommm noises when he drives his cars and trucks around - something I'm sure he picked up from big brother!!

When you say, "How big is Jack?", he will smile great big and raise his hands over his head. He gives big, slobbery, open mouth kisses (he usually reserves those for Mama), and has started opening and closing his hand to wave bye-bye. He is starting to be more interested in big people food - especially the pancakes and french toast that Grandma made when we were there for Christmas! He also likes bananas, mac and cheese, puffs, and of course, crackers! Big brother Drew is enjoying playing with him more, but I usually hear "No, Jack, no no Jack...." about a million times when they're trying to play together. It's so cute!

He finally sleeps great at night, and takes 2 naps a day, sometimes 2-3 hours each! :) Here are some recent pics of the little man - we love you Jack!!!

I love the tubberware cabinet!!

Happy boy!

Trying to squeeze between the table and a chair to get at one of Drew's toys...
Got it!!

I love to stand up and drive my trucks!

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's

On Sunday, we headed out to Grandma and Grandpa's house to celebrate Christmas with Brian's side of the family. It was a long drive, and the boys were very excited when we finally arrived! We had fun seeing everyone at Great Aunt Darlene's house, then we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's to open Christmas gifts!

We had to get a picture of Jack with a bow on his head because......

I knew we had this picture of Drew doing the same thing at Grandma's house on his first Christmas! Too cute!

Here is Drew tearing into his presents...
Loving his new video game from Grandma and Grandpa

Jack is ready to tear open his gift from Uncle Brad and Aunt Rachel!

There were HUGE snow drifts at the farm...here is Drew sliding down one!

Daddy and Uncle Kevin shoveled out a little snow cave for Drew!

Drew had a blast climbing over all the snow.

Plowing snow in the tractor with Grandpa!
So sweet......
We went to Great Grandma and Grandpa Ochs' house and saw "Lucy Baby", the little kitten that followed Drew around the farm the last time we were there and Aunt Shirley adopted and has been taking care of...Drew had fun playing with her!

Jack wanted to just reach out and grab her...

Having a little chat with Great Grandma Ochs!

Winter Wonderland!

We had to postpone our trip to Grandma and Grandpa's for a day because of all the snow - so we took advantage of it and played outside! It was Jack's first time in the snow - he wasn't sure what to think! He only lasted about 5 minutes because it was really cold and windy. Didn't bother Drew a bit, though!

Merry Christmas!

Well the boys must have been very good this year because Santa definitely came to our house! Drew was so excited this year - he has been counting down the days until Santa comes. His new response to everything is "I love that! That's what I really needed!" It was so neat to wake up to a white Christmas!

Here they are on Christmas Eve night, opening their one gift (that is always pjs)...

This is it?? I was hoping for a toy. :)

Helping baby brother who was soooo sleepy....

Sitting on the steps Christmas morning, ready to go down and see if Santa came!

This is a blurry picture, but it's the best one I had that captured the look on his face when he saw that Santa had brought him the red four wheeler he wanted AND it was in the living room!

What's in here??? Big brick blocks to build with!

Jack got some blocks too, perfect for chewing on!
