Just Some Pics...

Just a few random pics from our summer so far!

Sam came over to swim in the backyard last week and they found a worm...they were "watching" it closely to make sure it didn't climb out!

Playing 1st base!

"Can we go out and play in the rain?"  Sure, why not?!?  They had a blast.

Lightning McQueen, all clean from his shower.

We went to Dicks to get some Father's Day gifts and this happened...

Hahaha!  Love those crazy boys.

Happy Father's Day!

We had a low key Father's Day at home - started off by making Daddy pancakes for breakfast with DAD spelled out in chocolate chips!  The boys also made him bacon and chocolate milk.  :)  We took him to Planet Sub for lunch and then played outside for most of the afternoon.  Mimi, Papa, Ryan, Susie, Sam, Brody and Great Grandpa Spotts came over that evening and we grilled hamburgers and had a great dinner.  We are so thankful to have such great Dads in our life!!!

4 Generations!

Pool Time

A few weeks ago we met Mimi and Papa at their pool (because it's heated and ours was freezing!) on a Friday evening for pizza and a little swim!  Drew and Jack are little fish and Luke loves the water so far, too.

Luke is 10 Months Old!

10 months!!!  They have flown by.  This little boy brings us so much joy every day - he is such a sweet, laid back baby and is so happy.  He is into everything, and while yes, it's a pain to pick it all up and chase him around the house, I love watching him learn and explore everything in sight!  He is starting to cruise a little bit along the couch and will push a stool across the floor while walking behind it, and he will climb the stairs if we let him!  He can wave bye-bye (and if I say "Where's Dada?" he will wave bye-bye when Daddy's at work), give 5 and stick his tongue out when you ask "where's your tongue?"  He also gives the BEST open mouth slobbery kisses when you ask for them - the boys love when he does this -and hugs on demand by laying his head down on your shoulder.  Nothin' better than that!!  He gets a big smile when you ask "How big is Luke?" and raises his arms when you say "So big!"  When he wakes up from his nap I will pick him up and then tell him to spit out his binky and put it in his bed - and he will do it!

He is definitely a mama's boy - can't deny that I love that...but he loves Daddy and his brothers so much too.  Jack likes to wrestle with him and Drew likes to play and snuggle with him.  He is starting to eat more table food - last night he ate our dinner and no baby food at all!  He had green beans (gobbled those up), spaghetti and watermelon.  He also likes pancakes, toast, cheerios, crackers, bananas, applesauce - he'll be eating pizza before we know it!  He takes two 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hour naps every day and sleeps great at night.  No complaints here!  We love this little guy so much!  I can't believe in 2 short months he will be one year old.  I am loving every day with him!

The tupperware cabinet - my favorite place to play!

Check out that elbow dimple!

So big!

Hangin' with Papa at Drew's game.

Wrestling with Jack!

He can hear the dishes being unloaded from across the entire house...

Lake Fun

A couple of weekends ago we went down to the lake for my cousin Rachel's wedding.  It was kind of a cool and rainy weekend so we didn't get to do that much lake stuff but we did go out on the boat on Friday night when we got there.  Luke loved his first boat ride!  Mimi and Papa took us all out for a nice dinner that night - I wish I would have gotten a picture of that but I didn't.  The next morning it was raining so Mimi, Papa, Susie and Sam came to our hotel to swim at the indoor pool that had a cool water slide.  That evening was the wedding - the rain stopped and it was a beautiful night!  Rachel was so pretty!

Tennis, Anyone?

Drew is signed up for 3 sports camps this summer.  First up was tennis camp - a new sport he'd never played but I think he had fun!  He got a new tennis racket and showed us what he'd learned out in the cul-de-sac and we also went to Papa and Mimi's tennis courts one day to play a little.  Last week was baseball camp and this week is basketball camp but I haven't gotten any pictures of those!  It's keeping him busy and he's having fun with his buddies Colton and J.J.

Last Day of 2nd Grade!

We have a THIRD grader in the house!!!  How did that happen?!  Drew really grew up a lot this year, it seemed like...he had a great year with a wonderful report card at the end!  We are very proud of him.  His favorite thing about school is still P.E. but he loves math also and really excels at it!  He is ready for summer - bring on the fun!!!

Flashback to the first day...
