Drew Jacob

I decided to do a little post for each boy since I had a few pictures of each of them to post today.  Drew is growing like a weed and sometimes I look at him and just can't believe how grown up he looks!!!  We had his parent/teacher conference earlier this week and he had a great report card - he's reading on grade level and is still a whiz in math!  He is starting to enjoy reading a little more this year too, so I'm really happy about that.  On Wednesday it was "passionately pink for the cure" day at his school, and the kids were encouraged to wear pink and make donations for breast cancer research.  Well we all know Drew doesn't own any pink clothing, but he stayed up the night before and made an all pink bracelet on the rainbow loom in honor of his Grandma and Great-Grandma who are both breast cancer survivors!  He also contributed some of his money to the donation we sent in.  We were very proud of him!

I had to include this picture also - Jack had out the sidewalk chalk the other day and Drew had just learned how to draw a barn in art that day.  He started with a barn and ended up drawing Grandma and Grandpa's entire farm!  If you look closely you can see the house, barn, shed, dirt road, field with corn, combine, field with cows (some of them eating), another field and even a "test" field where Grandpa was testing the crops!!  It was quite the project and he was very upset when it rained a few days later!

Jack Ryan

This little guy just cracks me up every day.  I'm so glad I get to spend my days with him!  I can't believe he'll be in kindergarten next year.  His favorite phrases lately are "Hey mama" (he says this one at LEAST 284 times a day) and "Mama I'll show you"!  He is also master negotiator when it comes to wanting to play video games and going to Target to get "just one" toy.  He wouldn't be too happy if he knew I was posting this picture, but it was too funny not to!

He is very into showing off his ninja moves lately, too.  :)

Luke Michael

Here are some recent pics of our littlest man!  He is growing so fast and I just love the smiles and "talking" that he does.  Drew and Jack really get a kick out of being able to make him smile now, too!

He looks so much like Jack here!

Ready to go outside and play!

Love this face!

Pumpkin Picking Time!

Last weekend we went to the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins and play, of course!  Luke was awake for a few pictures at first and then slept through the rest of the fun!  The boys checked out the animals, rode the train, dug for fossils, went through the corn and hay bale mazes, played on all the kiddie stuff and then took a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch!  Oh and I can't forget the pumpkin donut Jack had to have - that boy loves him some donuts!!

My boys are all getting so tall - even Luke!

Drew had already picked out some big pumpkins to carve a few weeks ago, so this time he picked out his pumpkin to take to school for "pumpkin math" on Halloween.  The teacher said it had to be small, no bigger than their head - of course he picked the biggest one he could find that still met those requirements!

2 Months!!

Well I'm a week behind in posting this, but the pictures were taken last week!  Our little man is 2 months old and wow, how time is flying.  He had his 2 month check-up last Friday and weighed in at 11 lbs. 12 oz (50th percentile) and was 23 1/2 inches long (50-75th percentile).  He is starting to get some chubby cheeks and thighs!  He did great at his appointment except for when the doctor looked in his ears - he was not a fan of that!!  Drew and Jack love that they can make him smile now - Luke is really starting to look at us and smile - I even think I've heard a couple of little laughs!  He is also trying to "talk" to us - so sweet!!  He loves sitting in his bouncy seat or laying on his changing table or a blanket on the floor and just talking away!  He still takes a couple good naps a day plus a few catnaps (all in the swing!) and usually gives us a 4 or 5 hour stretch at night before waking up to eat.  He loves being outside - either taking walks in the stroller, hanging out in the baby bjorn watching the kids, and even swinging on the swings with mommy!  We love this sweet peanut so much!!!

Field Trip!

Jack had his first field trip last Friday to Carolyn's Pumpkin Patch!  He was very excited to be there with his friends.  They got to see and pet the goats, bunnies, peacocks, donkeys, pigs and even a baby calf!  Then we took a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch and they got to pick a pumpkin to take home.  After that we rode the train and had a snack!  It was a fun day - all he could talk about though was needing a pumpkin donut (you can smell this deliciousness throughout the entire pumpkin patch) - so we had to get a couple of those to take home!

The Last Few Weeks with my Loves

These are just some random pictures I snapped in the past couple of weeks.  Luke is growing more each day and the boys are starting to realize that he's becoming a little more fun.  :)  They enjoy holding him and making him smile!

Luke is not so sure about this Batman character...

Love that precious face!

Comfy on Daddy's chest.

Luke likes to take a long snooze in the late evening and I often have to wake him up to feed him so I can go to bed.  He is usually OUT - I have to undress him and change his diaper before he'll really wake up!  Here he's STILL snoozing...

And then a BIG stretch!  He has gotten so long!

Last week Jack, Luke and I went for a long walk after Jack got home from school.  Jack had fun walking on the big rocks down by the pond.

Two of my cuties!  This was before Jack wanted to race the stroller with his bike and we collided and ended up with a skinned leg...  :(

Big Brother Drew reading If You Give a Mouse a Cookie to Luke!  He loved it!

More pics of trying to wake up the sleepyhead...

Can't get enough of this face!

Silly Jack and Luke this morning before school!
