We spent 5 days at the lake the week before last - we had so much fun swimming, boating, swimming, playing at the beach, swimming, riding on the wave runner, swimming, riding go-carts and bumper boats and swimming!!! The boys were total lake/pool rats this time around - I am sure we were in the lake or pool more than we were out of it that week. (Maybe that was why both boys were sick by the time we got home?! - a little too much lake fun!)
We got to the lake on Tuesday and just spent the evening at the pool. Then on Wednesday we did a little floating and swimming in the lake...

We took a boat ride over to a nice cove and did some more swimming - the boys loved jumping off the back of the boat - wish I would have gotten a picture of that!

The next morning it was raining so we hung around the condo and then when it let up we went down and threw some rocks in the lake and fed the ducks before getting caught in the rain when it started up again!
After it cleared up we headed to the beach at Franky and Louie's. Jack drove us there!
The boys had fun playing in the sand - Drew even made a river down the beach!

While they were in the lake they saw a crawdad and caught him in a bucket! The kids all thought that was pretty neat! After they inspected him we set him free again...
The boys and Papa made up a game of "push me down in the water so I make a big splash" - it was a hit!

That evening we went on a "night ride" - Buzz and Woody had to come with us. :)

On Friday Papa rented a waverunner for the boys to try out! They loved it!!! I got to ride once to take it over to a cove, but once the boys got on, that was it! They took turns back and forth for the whole 2 hours we had it.

On Friday night the boys stayed with Mimi and Papa and Brian and I got to go out to dinner for our anniversary. Better late than never!
On Saturday we went out on the boat early and found another nice, calm cove to swim in.
Drew went to the store with Papa that afternoon and of course they came back with donuts!
Then we headed out to drive some go-carts! Daddy and Jack rode together and Papa and Drew rode together - then Jack wanted to do the bumper boats and Drew chose to do the go-carts again - this time he rode with me! Lots of fun!

We ended our trip with - what else - a little more swimming! Jack was jumping off the side like a maniac - he kept saying, "Super Jack - TO THE RESCUE!!!!!!!" It was pretty funny.
Needed a little rest after that!
