Gymnastics Field Trip

Today I got to go with Jack's class on a field trip to Edge Gymnastics.  He had a blast running around with his friends and jumping on the trampoline, into the foam pit and sliding down the big blow up slide!

Future Olympian??

Happy 1st Birthday, Brody!

Our little nephew and cousin Brody turned 1 on Wednesday and we celebrated his birthday last Sunday!  He was pretty overwhelmed and not sure what to think about all the excitement!  He really got into that cake, though!!!  Such a cutie with those blond curls.  We love you, buddy!

One More Birthday Party!

We celebrated Drew's birthday one more time last weekend with the Zimmerman side of the family!  Grandma and Grandpa came into town to celebrate and watch Drew's basketball game on Saturday.  That evening Uncle Brad, Aunt Rachel, Parker, Uncle Kevin, Sara, Aunt Susie, Sam, Brody, Mimi and Papa also came over for pizza and cake!  It was quite a sight with 6 little boys running around (ok, Luke wasn't running but everyone else was!)  Drew got some more legos and a cool remote control tractor and tank!  Whew - after a whole week of birthday celebrating we are worn out!

Parker!

Brody!
(My camera has a scratch on the lens and these pictures all have a blurry spot in the same area!  Darn it...)

Chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream - his favorite!

We went out to Brad and Rachel's on Sunday afternoon to see Grandma and Grandpa once more before they left.  They took us out for a great dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse!

Luke was talkin to Grandma!

Grandma and Grandpa and the birthday boy!

Look at all those BOYS!!!

Just Jack...

This kid cracks me up on a daily basis...

He came downstairs one day last week with his headphones on and just laid like this on the couch listening to his ipod!

Having fun playing Sequence, his new Christmas game from Mimi and Papa.

Of course you have to dress up like Batman when you are watching Batman, duh.

Little Luke...

Just some pics of our littlest guy!

He loves that he can now grab the toys on his play gym.

He falls asleep like this every night when we give him his bottle.  He's so sweet and snugly that I usually end up laying on the couch with him like this for at least another hour!

His newest favorite trick is pulling his socks off and putting them in his mouth!

He can get his feet in his mouth, too!

I just want to eat those cheeks!!!

He likes sitting in his high chair and playing with his toys, and most recently, throwing them on the floor.  :)

Conked out on Daddy last night.

Cereal!

Luke had his first bites of rice cereal the other day.  He wasn't too impressed - more interested in the spoon and the bib...wait till we bring out the sweet potatoes!!

Some pics of the little cutie.

Happy 8th Birthday, Drew!!!

Drew turned 8 years old on Friday!  I know I am always saying this, but I seriously can't believe it!!!  8 years since that 6 lb 5 oz baby surprised us 3 1/2 weeks early and stayed in the NICU for 13 days?!?  Look at him now - soooo tall (close to 4 1/2 feet I think!) and 70 pounds!  He is solid and never ever stops moving.  Total boy.  He really is starting to look so grown up.  Complete with the eye roll at some of the things we say or his little brother says.  :)  This kiddo is a whiz at math (he will do things in his head that I even need to write down!), has become a great reader, loves playing and watching sports (baseball and basketball are his favorites but he's started watching football a lot), and loves loves loves to be outside playing or riding his bike.  He still loves all things farm related - he is so serious about it, too!  Can't wait to see what this boy will do one day.  Well, ok, I CAN wait, because I don't want it to go too fast!  He is an awesome big brother to Luke and Jack (when they're not fighting) and has become a big helper with the baby.  We love you so much, Drew Jacob!

On the morning of his birthday he woke up to 8 balloons floating around his room!

Chocolate chip bagels for breakfast!  Then later that morning I brought chocolate sprinkle donuts for his class.  YUM!

Opening a few gifts before school.

That night he picked Rancho Grande for dinner so we met Mimi and Papa there and then came back to our house for cake and more presents!

He got a cool new excavator, grain truck, Monopoly, some new Under Armour clothes and a Y-flicker scooter!  Spoiled!

On Saturday we took 4 of his friends to Maze Craze to do laser tag, the laser maze and the mirror maze.  Then they all came back to our house for pizza, cookie cake and a sleepover!!  We all survived but were a little tired the next day.  :) The boys had a blast though, playing video games, air hockey and hanging out in the basement.

This mirror maze looked crazy!

Drew, Gavin, Jake and J.J.

Drew and James have been friends since Pre-K!  They don't go to the same school now but they are still great buddies.  These two are very similar!!

J.J. gave Drew a K-State football signed by one of the players!

Donuts for breakfast!
