I can't believe that Drew is finished with Pre-K and is officially almost a kindergartner! His last day was Monday, and I got to go help with their "Olympic Day". The kids had lots of fun at the different stations: water guns, bubbles, corn/rice table, ring toss, chalk, big wheels, parachutes, frisbee, and fishing. After Olympic Day, the preschoolers got to watch as Mrs. Cox, the director, released some of their butterflies! They have been watching the life cycle as the caterpillars changed to chrysalises and then to butterflies. It was really neat! Tonight we went to school for the open house, which they have instead of a formal graduation. We had cookies and talked with his teacher, and got to see his special Faubion Preschool yearbook! When we got home we had a special graduation gift waiting in the garage - a new bike! He has really outgrown his little bike that he got when he was 3, so this was the perfect time for a new, bigger one! He hopped right on and took off! We went for a ride down to the pond, and he told me he was not going to ride through the puddles with this bike until it was older. :) And then he said, "I love it!" We love you, Drew, and are so proud of you!

Butterflies!

If you look closely at the end of that stick, you can see 2 butterflies being released.

So surprised about his new bike!

Ready to try it out!

And he's off!
