Drew's 5th Birthday / SNOW DAY!!!

January 10, 2011 - Drew is five!!! So hard to believe that it has been 5 years since our little guy decided to surprise us and arrive 3 1/2 weeks early. He is not so little anymore! He weighs about 46 pounds and is about 45 inches tall! He is so smart and amazes me with the things he says and his imagination. He woke up to LOTS of snow and more falling on his birthday - snow day - no school! Daddy stayed home from work and Drew had a blast shoveling, sledding, and playing in the snow! Of course, first things first - had to open those presents from Mommy, Daddy and Jack....

We came home and warmed up and then met Mimi, Papa, Aunt Susie and Sam at Red Robin for a birthday dinner. Drew's favorite part was, of course, the ice cream sundae for dessert!

Back at home we decorated the chocolate cake we had made earlier - trying to see how many treats we can have in one weekend!!

Drew's 5th Birthday Party with his Friends

On Sunday, Drew had his first real "friend" birthday party at Air Zone. He invited 4 friends from preschool, the neighbor girls, and 5 other friends he has played with since they were babies. The kids had a blast jumping and sliding on all the inflatables!

Drew's 5th Birthday Party

On Saturday we had all the family over for Drew's 5th birthday! He requested a fire truck party this year, so that is what he got! He loved the fire truck cake and balloons. Grandma and Grandpa even made the trip to Kansas City for the festivities!
