HOPPY EASTER!!!

***Please ignore the crazy spacing on these next 2 posts - I tried and tried but it kept putting giant spaces between each picture and the writing, so I gave up!!

Happy Easter, everyone! The boys had a fun filled Easter today, starting off with getting up early to find their baskets and see what the Easter Bunny had left! The Easter Bunny always leaves a trail of jelly beans from their rooms all the way to their Easter baskets. Drew was very excited about that this year, and has been talking about it for days! After checking out their baskets they hunted for all the eggs the Easter Bunny had hidden. Drew was so excited that some of the eggs had "monies" in them! Jack had to stop and open each one he found - if it had M&Ms he would eat them, if it had jelly beans he would dump them on the ground because he doesn't like them, and if it had money he would jump up and down! We went to church this morning and got to see my cousin's baby Mason get baptised. After that we went to Mimi and Papa's house for Easter lunch! It was a great day with family!

Looks like the Easter Bunny has been here!!

Finding the jelly bean trail going down the hallway!

Drew already eating the jelly beans before he even got downstairs...

So excited!

I found one!!

Checking out all the goodies in his basket.

Jack was so excited about his Toy Story books the Easter Bunny left!

Cookies!! (The one and only thing Drew said he wanted in his Easter basket. One day he turned away from me, looked up, and said, "Easter Bunny, please bring me some little chocolate chip cookies.") :)

A little kite to fly this summer!

Found some more! Jack was multitasking by eating his Buzz Lightyear fruit snacks while hunting for eggs.

What's in this one?

Drew thought it was pretty funny that the Easter Bunny had hidden an egg inside his new tennis shoes!

Here's one!

That must have been one tall Easter Bunny!!

My handsome boys ready for church! My first of many attempts to get a cute picture together...

Drew was very excited about his new little calculater!

Little Sam's first Easter!

Jack playing with his new bubble gun from Aunt Suz, Uncle Ryan and Sam.

Yet another attempt at a cute picture together - not bad, but Jack's eyes are closed!

Easter's on its way!

The boys had lots of fun getting ready for Easter this year! In the last week we have seen the Easter Bunny, colored eggs, painted Easter magnets, and made jelly bean cupcakes!

Jack wasn't so sure about the Easter Bunny this year - last year he walked right up and laid his head in his lap, but this year he was attached to me and wouldn't sit by him!

They had a blast coloring Easter eggs - Jack really got into it - he kept sticking his whole hand into the dye! At one point his entire hand was stained blue. It was fun, though!

Jack loved the Toy Story eggs, of course.

Painting Easter magnets for Mimi and Papa and Grandma and Grandpa! Jack really got into this, too - he loves to paint and color!

We got all the plastic eggs out last week, and the boys have had great fun playing with those. Jack just liked taking them apart and throwing them all over the house, so we had to teach him that you were supposed to hide them. Well he got right on that - and hid them ALL under the couch together! It was pretty funny!

Cousins!

Uncle Ryan and Sam walked down to visit tonight - Sam was riding in his little car and wearing his Charlie Sheen hat - SO adorable! Couldn't resist taking some pictures... Look at that face!! I want to eat him up! Jack taking Sam for a little walk... Jack had to try on Sam's hat - Sam wasn't too sure about that! Here is how Jack put the hat back on him... Showing him how this car works! Love him! This was such a cute picture but for some reason it turned out really light, so I changed it to black and white thinking that would make it better - it didn't really help, but it was so cute....

Boys will be boys.....

I turned around last night to see this going on in the living room... And then this morning I walked into Drew's room to find both boys and every stuffed animal we own in Drew's bed!

Mommy's 33rd Birthday!

Mommy had a good birthday on Tuesday - it consisted of going to work and Drew's t-ball practice, but after that we celebrated with cake and presents! Daddy and Drew made me a chocolate cake with white icing and sprinkles - YUM! Singing "Happy Birthday" - Jack sang along too, it was so cute - check out that dimple!! The boys helping me blow out my candles! Who needs a fork?! I'll pick this baby up with my hands! The boys picked me out a book and some new flip flops - and they put red confetti like paper in the bag instead of tissue paper, so they thought that was great fun!! Daddy gave me some clothes and brought some beautiful tulips home that night - thanks for a great birthday, boys!

Springtime fun!

It was SO nice out last weekend that we took lunch outside to the driveway! Isabel was outside too so she joined us with her lunch! Too bad Jack ate nothing on his plate except for the cheetos.... Popsicles for dessert!

More t-ball practice...

Just a few pictures from Drew's practice last Saturday - he is getting better and better! Batting practice! Jack was VERY upset that he could not go out on the field with the big boys. Ready to get the ball! Jack found a friend and some dirt - everything's better now. :)
