Our little man turned one year old today! Where has the past year gone?! Seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home. Jack is our sweet, laid back, easygoing little baby. He has brought us so much joy this past year!! He weighs 24 pounds now and is so content to cruise around the house exploring everything! He has 2 lower teeth and is working on two more on the top. He is already trying to keep up with Drew and wants to do everything big brother does. He is starting to walk more and more, and is speedy fast when he crawls. His favorite thing is, of course, the stairs. He says mama, dada, duh (for dog and Drew, I think!), and uh-oh. He can also wave bye-bye and hi and just tonight started giving Great Grandpa Spotts five!
We celebrated today by hanging out together at home and playing with all of Jack's new birthday toys. Drew and Mommy made cupcakes for him this morning. He wasn't too into eating them though - just wanted to smear the icing in his hair! But the rest of us enjoyed them! We had all of Jack's favorites too - pancakes for breakfast and mac and cheese for lunch. :) Jack opened some more gifts from Drew and Mommy and Daddy and had a ball playing with everything! Happy 1st Birthday, baby boy! We love you soooooo much!
