Shockers Season Opener!

Drew's baseball team had their season opener last night!  It was FREEZING and they ended up losing the game but the boys played hard for the first time ever in a competitive league!  Drew caught a fly ball for a 3rd out in one inning and had a great line drive in another inning.  We are proud of him!  He was disappointed because they were supposed to play again tonight but got rained out.  :(  Next game is on Friday!

I was too busy trying to keep Luke bundled up to take any pictures, but I did get this one before the game!

Luke's Christening Day

We had Luke christened at church on Sunday.  We are so grateful that all of his family was there to support him and to celebrate with us afterwards!  We had a BBQ (in the rain) and got to spend the afternoon chatting with family before Grandma and Grandpa headed home.  It was a great day!!

Cousins!  Luke, Drew, Jack, Parker, Sam and Brody!  Boys, boys, boys!!!

Helping to open his gifts!

Visit from Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa came into town for Luke's baptism so the boys got to spend lots of time with them on Saturday!  That evening we went out to dinner with Brad, Rachel, Parker, Kevin and Sara and then went to the park to celebrate Mother's Day with Grandma since we won't see her before then.  It was a beautiful night and the kids had fun running around with each other!

Take Your Child to Work Day

Drew got to go to work with Daddy for the 2nd year of Take Your Child to Work Day.  He was pretty excited about spending the day with Dad (and not going to school, of course!)

Just Pictures!

These are just some random pictures on my camera from the last month or so!  We've been having lots of fun!

Luke loves to swing at the park!

Taking a bike ride at Stocksdale Park.

We were shopping at Zona Rosa one day and found this giant Spiderman at The Children's Place!

More bike rides!

We went out to the mall one morning and met Aunt Rachel and Parker - the boys had fun on the carousel!

Oh my goodness - all the lego people lined up against the wall, each with an accessory in their hand.  :)

The boys were out of school on Good Friday so we had lunch outside at Planet Sub and then went to the park.

Last week Rachel and Parker came up to play - we took a walk to the park and then went out to lunch!

Shatto Dairy

Last week Jack's class went to Shatto Dairy Farm.  It was so neat for them to see exactly where the milk that is in our refrigerator comes from!  They got to see how the cows are milked, pet a baby calf, milk a cow (Jack passed on that one!), learn how the milk is bottled, and taste different kinds of milk, including root beer, strawberry, banana and chocolate!  He had lots of fun and we came home with some yummy chocolate and root beer milk.  :)

Watching the cows being milked.

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter again this year.  The day before we colored eggs and the next morning the boys woke up to jelly bean trails leading to their Easter baskets!  After checking out their goodies and hunting for eggs, we went to church and then to Mimi and Papa's for lunch and more egg hunts.  The weather was beautiful and it was a fun day!

Jack wanted to leave a note for the Easter Bunny.  :)
