This summer went by SO fast! I really tried to soak up every minute of it because I knew it was going to be hard to send Jack off to Kindergarten. It is very bittersweet - I am so excited for this new chapter he is embarking on but it just means he's growing up that much more! Time needs to slow down!!! He's been my little sidekick for so long - it's definitely weird only having Luke to talk to all day long and it's a lot quieter in our house! The year is off to a great start - Jack loves Mrs. Rembecki, who was also Drew's kindergarten teacher, and Drew says that Mrs. Schneider is really nice. He is excited about the laptop he will get next week - to use at school and to bring home!
Jack and Mrs. Rembecki at Meet the Teacher night. (Of course Drew is too cool for pictures.) :)
I asked Jack why he kept standing like that...he said because that's what Mario does!
We parked down the street and walked with the boys on the first day.
Ready to take on his day! *tear*
Jack and his buddies from his baseball team, Cale and Eli.
While the boys were at school, Luke and I tried to keep ourselves busy...we made chocolate chip cookies for them to eat after school and Luke had to try one - yum!
We rode around on the Batmobile...
He stood up in his wagon...
And then it was time to meet the bus! The boys both had a great first day.
Luke is so excited to see his brothers every day after school - you can tell he missed them! (This picture isn't from the first day but you get the idea.) :)
Jack said, "Lukey, give me a hug!" This baby boy loves his brothers.
