Fun at the Apple Orchard

Every fall we go to Alldredge Orchard and pick apples.  Yesterday was a beautiful day so we headed up there to get some apples and play.  There weren't too many apples to pick because of the crazy spring weather we had, but the boys didn't care - they liked picking down rotten apples and throwing them under the trees just as much as picking the good ones!  And Drew's favorite parts were pulling Jack in the wagon out to the apple trees and of course, the pedal cars - he now wants to buy two of them to have at home.  :)  We had a fun day!

Feeding the chickens is always so much fun!  There were a ton of them!

"Mama can you take my picture on this big white pumpkin??"  :)

Jack found the queen bee!!

Jack found a tiny apple just for Luke.

Mr. Luke slept the entire time!

Luke Lately!

Some recent pics of the little man!  He's growing and changing every day!

Holding onto his binky!

Great Aunt Gail and Great Grandpa Spotts came for a visit last week!  Gail gave Luke this shirt that says, "Awesome like Auntie".  :)

He will always be our little peanut!!!

Brothers!

Some sweet pictures of my 3 boys lately...

Talking to Luke while he was laying on his activity mat...love this!

Jack thinks it's so funny to get really close to Luke so he "hits" him in the face.  :)

Drew reading Green Eggs and Ham to Luke!

Showing him the pictures!!

As we were trying to get ready to go to the bus stop one morning last week, I needed both hands to do something so big brother Drew helped out by holding and talking to Luke for a few minutes!  What a great helper!!

All About Jack!

Jack had his first Pre-K homework assignment last week - an All About Me poster!  We had fun filling it out and he colored it himself and wrote his name, his favorite color, and drew his favorite food.  :)  We had to have a little lesson on what a "job" or "career" was for the "I want to be a ... when I grow up" question!  His first answer was Luigi!  I am wishing now that I would have just written that down - gotta love a 4 year old's imagination!  He turned in his poster and each week the teacher is choosing 2 kids to show theirs and bring in items to tell about themselves...Jack hasn't had his turn yet but can't wait to see what he picks!

While I'm on the subject of my Jackers, I couldn't resist snapping a picture of him the other night sleeping with his Buzz and Mickey all tucked in beside him.  :)  So sweet!

The other day he asked me if he could "sort out his books".  I said "sure....." - when I came upstairs he had piles of books covering the entire floor in his room, and he had sorted them by genre!  Pretty smart for only 4 years old!  He had piles of Cars books, Superhero books, Biscuit books, animal books, vehicle books, bird books, etc...it was so cute!!  He's my little thinker!

Luke is 1 Month Old!

How fast the last month has flown by!  It's funny how it seems like he was just born yesterday but at the same time I can't really remember what our lives were like without him!  Luke has already changed so much in such a short time!  At his 2 week checkup he weighed 7 lbs 8 oz, so I'm sure he's well over 8 pounds (maybe more?) now.  He is such a sweet baby and I could just sit for hours letting him sleep on my chest and smelling his head!  He is starting to be awake more and I am pretty sure I caught a couple of smiles in the past few days!  Jack can't wait until Luke can smile like Brody when he talks to him.  :)  He sleeps pretty good sometimes during the day (depends on the day!) but is still sleeping great at night, other than being quite noisy!  Big brothers are enjoying helping to feed him and hold him and they go right to him when he cries and try to talk to him and give him his binky!  Jack is so funny when he talks to Luke - it's always in a high pitched voice (I guess mimicking me?!) and he'll say, "Hi buddy!  Who's holdin you?  Huh?  No fussin!  Are you awake now?"  :)  Luke loves to look at his brothers and also stare at all the lights in the house.  He also is very content laying on his changing table and just looking around!  As Jack says, "He's just checkin' everything out!"  We love you, little man!

Luke's First 4 Weeks in Pictures!

I have a ton of pictures (of course) of our little peanut so I picked out some to post...ok, a lot to post...but I just want to always remember how teeny tiny he was because in the blink of an eye he'll be running after his brothers!
