Love!

Just a few more pics of our precious guy...

Second Grade Here We Come!

How in the world did this happen?!  Drew started 2nd grade on Wednesday.  He wanted to ride the bus to school on the first day - can't believe he already doesn't want me to take him to his class!  His teacher's name is Mrs. Littrell and he has a few friends from 1st grade in his class this year so he was happy about that.  He wasn't too excited about starting back - who IS excited about the end of summer?! - but now that he's started, I think he is enjoying it (recess, P.E. and being back with his friends, at least!)  He has already told me about all the great books that Mrs. Littrell has (WAY more that first grade, apparently) and lots of his favorites.  I feel like it was just yesterday that we brought HIM home from the hospital - I blinked and he is in 2nd grade!

He looks so big!

He wanted to push Luke to the bus stop.  :)
 Jack pushed him home!

Ready to Come Home!

We brought little man Luke home on Sunday.  Both of the boys insisted on riding next to him on the way home.  :)  It's been an adjustment but he has been a pretty good baby so far!  I could just sit and let him sleep on my chest all day.  The boys have (kind of) been helpers and Jack is always talking in a sweet little voice to him when he cries.  "Heeeeyyyyy, no fussin...."  :)  Here are a few pics from our first few days at home as we try to figure out this world of having THREE!

Ready to go home!  (My hat is a little too big...)
 That's better.
NOT happy about this big car seat!
Here we go!  (Brian and Jack look a little worried...)
 We're home now!

 Love this!

 First little sponge bath!
Drew reading to Jack and Luke after his bath.

Luke is Here!!!

Luke Michael Zimmerman was born on Friday, August 9th at 3:05 a.m.  He weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long.  He is beautiful and absolutely perfect!!!  We are all in love.  My labor started around 5:00 on Thursday night, Mom's birthday, right before we were going over to her house to celebrate.  I used my phone to time the contractions throughout the night - driving over there, eating our steak dinner, opening gifts, driving back home!  They started getting stronger as we were getting the boys to bed, and I told Drew that he just might have a baby brother when he woke up the next morning!  Around 10:00 I called Mom and Dad and told them to come on up - I thought this was probably the real deal!  We got to the hospital around 11:00 that night and he was born 4 hours later!  He only missed Mimi's birthday by 3 hours.  She made it down to the hospital right after he was born and got to be the first to hold him.  We are so glad he's here and healthy as can be!

Brand new!  My first thought was that he looked just like Jack!  My second thought was he was perfect!!!

LOVE!!

Mimi caught a first little smile!
Look at those big feet!
Meeting his proud big brothers for the first time!

Checking out their big brother gifts from Mommy, Daddy and Luke!

Visit from Aunt Rachel, Uncle Brad and Parker!  (We also had visits from Uncle Ryan, Aunt Susie, Sam and Brody but I must have been too out of it earlier when they came because I don't have any pictures!) :(
