Paradise Park

The boys and I went to Paradise Park today! This is becoming one of our favorite places to play - they have SO much to do! And now that Jack is big enough, he loves it too - he can run around wherever he wants without me chasing after him and trying to keep him out of things! They have a soft play room, with a ball pit and slides, a block room, a pretend bank, house, pizza restaurant, grocery store, a water area, train tables, miniature play with animals, farms, houses....plus a big outdoor area with several jungle gyms, climbing things, and sand pits! The boys loved it today - we had so much fun!!

Jack loved the ball pit!

Cooking together at the pizza place!

Drew cooking the pizza - in his pink apron. :)

Doing laundry in the pretend house

Water play! Didn't take long for Jack to be soaked...

Drew was quite the climber today...

Jack wants to do everything that big brother does...

Look, Mom - I found a stick!

I am getting SO big - I'm 14 months old today!!

So fun!!

The Zoo

A few weekends ago we went to the zoo - it was another beautiful day and Jack's 2nd trip to the zoo, only this time he wasn't a baby sleeping in the car seat! He really liked the animals. We walked our tails off but I think we managed to see everything!

These hippos were sleeping like this - it was hilarious!

Crocodiles....

We ate lunch right by these giraffes!

Our little monkey Jack really liked the monkeys!!

It was such a nice day, not too cool or too warm, so lots of the animals were out!

Drew and Mommy on the train

My attempt at taking a family picture myself...we were all squished together in the very last seat on the train...but we'd already waited in line forever and didn't get on the first 2 times, so we took it!

Drew petting the "Baa Baa Black Sheep" :)

Going down the frog slide

Brothers!

Drew loved the sea lion show...

Porcupine!

These monkeys were in the new tropical rainforest building and they were fighting over the flowers that the girl was feeding them! Drew thought that was pretty funny.

Drew and Daddy taking a camel ride!

Riding the carousel!

By the time we reached the highway here is what we had in the backseat.....

My birthday / day at the park!

My 32nd birthday was a few weeks ago - I had the day off so the boys and I met Brian at Antioch Park and had a picnic! It was a beautiful day for it and they have a great playground and these little buildings for the kids to play in. Everyone was worn out after that - my birthday gift to myself was that both boys had to take naps, ha ha! That evening we went out to dinner at Garozzo's with mom, dad, Ryan and Susie. It was a great birthday!!

I opened my gift from the boys the day before my birthday, because when Drew and Brian got home from shopping that day, Drew goes, "Daddy, when can we give Mommy her new cell phone?" :)

Blowing out the candle (all we could find at Mimi's house!) on the chocolate cake that Drew and Daddy made me

Enjoying our picnic at the park!

Feeding the geese!

T-Rex!

A few weekends ago we went out to the Legends to eat at the T-Rex restaurant. We have only been there once before - I think Drew was about 2 and wasn't too fond of the dinosaurs. But this time he was way excited and loved it! We sat right by 2 big dinosaurs and Drew liked when the lights started flashing and they had pretend meteor showers in the restaurant! Jack wasn't scared a bit, either - he was quite entertained!

Played a few games in Dave and Busters before we went home...

It's that time of year again...

To help Great Grandpa Spotts mow his yard! Drew's all time favorite spring/summer activity. :) Well the grass wasn't quite long enough to mow yet, but Grandpa let Drew pretend anyway. We went over there a couple of weeks ago when Drew had a Thursday off of preschool. He had a blast with Grandpa driving all over the yard. Jack had fun just wandering around, mowing and pushing his truck! So glad they will have these memories with their Great Grandpa.

Have to check the oil first....

Riding in Grandpa's trailer, just like Mommy and Uncle Ryan used to do!

Helping Grandpa pick up all the sticks that were all over his yard!
